Membership in EEMBC gives your company access to the Consortium's benchmark source code and provides the opportunity to participate in the development of next-generation benchmarks. In addition to serving as an objective measure of processor, compiler, and Java virtual machine performance that you can share with customers, EEMBC's benchmarks are a useful tool for testing, tuning, and improving your products in the development stage.

Benchmark development within EEMBC is a deliberative, democratic process carried out by application-focused subcommittees under the guidance of the Consortium's Board of Directors. As an EEMBC member, you have the opportunity to help define this ongoing process through participation in face-to-face meetings and by the TechTag teleconferences organized by the EEMBC Technology Center. Your membership dues support benchmark R&D activities as well as entitling you to a defined number of free benchmark certifications per year, depending on your membership category. All members are moreover entitled to participate in joint public relations, advertising, and trade show opportunities organized by the Consortium and designed to boost industry recognition of EEMBC benchmark scores and hence their value to your company as a sales and marketing tool.
